Khoo Hun Yeang Street in Kuching, who is him? according to the history, he is
rich of selling opium and alcohol and build the shop houses here, his
time is under Raja Charles Brooke (1868-1917) & only him can get the
license selling for opium and alcohol, sad we can’t see his photo in
history. In Japanese WWII, Khoo Hun Yeang was home of the Japanese
brothels, which was respectably run, where the Japanese ladies use to
play their trade is now & some shops occupied by banks, dispensaries
and offices.
